| Glock barrels are made at the Glock factory in Deutsch-Wagram, Austria. They are the same barrels that come stock standard on new Glock pistols. With that in mind, they are extremely reliable, and tested to function without flaw, even in the most extreme conditions. Glock barrels are unique in that they have polygonal rifling, as opposed to the conventional eight groove rifling found on most semi-auto pistols. Among the advantages of polygonal rifling is less bullet deformation, which results in less aerodynamic drag on the bullet, and increases range, accuracy and velocity. |
 |
| Polygonal rifling also increases barrel longevity, due to the reduced build-up of copper or lead residue within the barrel. Glock factory barrels can be counted on to shoot straight, and in fact they are in the real world, as many military and police units the world over choose Glock. They know they can count on Glock factory barrels in life and death situations. That said, you know you can count on Glock barrels to help you hit the bullseye at the range. |
